Personal History : I was born in Korea and my family immgrated to Canada when I was 16. I finished high school in canada and then College and University.
Professional History: I was in the army reserve as a medical assistant for 3 years, and also I volunteered at Vancouver Crisis Centre for 2 years. I then studied PCAD (Personal Care Attendant)where I learned to help people with disabilities with their activities of daily living. Since 2003, I have worked as a music therapist, mainly with the elderly population.
Work Philosophy: Client centered, engage and get people going! Through singing and playing instruments with clients, I assist me clients in exploring different ways to channel their feelings and emotions. Staff say “Her love for music is contagious, and her clients enjoy her and her music very much.”
